Preview : Chelsea Vs Arsenal
On 17th September 2017, Arsenal will to
travel to Stamford Bridge and face the current Premier League champions,
Chelsea.
Both teams will be facing each other for
the 51st time the coming Sunday and this match, though is not the most crucial
match of the season, an undivided attention will be given to it because of the
history between the two clubs and it definitely is the match for the weekend.
A victory in this game is important for
both the teams. Arsenal need to come out of, not only a disappointing start to
the 2017-18 season but also to the disappointing end to their last season.
Chelsea on the other hand ended last season as Champions but started off this
season with a defeat but have won 4 consecutive games since then, 3 of them in
the premier league but they need to win this match to not only prove that they
still have the mentality of the champions and but also to say strongly that a
repeat of 2015-16 season is not going to happen.
Chelsea have a healthy squad and we sure
can expect Hazard to start the game. The good news for Arsenal is the return of
Alexis Sanchez. They have missed his creativity and attacking instinct and
Wenger will now breathe easily. Kolasinac is one other player who has easily
settled into the Arsenal team and will be a sure starter against Chelsea. He
has been providing both attacking and defending stability to the Arsenal team
but Chelsea too have brought in Bakayoko whose partnership with Kante has
really been making it hard for other teams to threaten Chelsea's defence which
is already one of the best defences in the Premier League.
There has been a lot of argument about who
is the better striker. Lacazette or Morata. Which team has made the right choice?
The Chelsea player has scored 3 goals while the Arsenal target man has scored
twice and both players will be willing to be the man to score the winning goal
for their team. This battle of strikers will be worth watching. Who'll be
selfish and who will play for the team might actually decide which team
wins.
Chelsea do have the advantage if the
starting 11 is put to comparison but they did lose against Burnley and for
Arsenal, Ozil needs to put in a star performance but hey this is the premier
league anything can happen.
