Which teams' UEFA Champions League triumph is the best, so far?

The most coveted prize in world football, other than the World Cup is the UEFA Champions League. There is not a single club which would not dream of winning it. Just thinking about the Champions League music alone would make you come alive. There is just nothing quite like it.

This tournament has provided some spectacular matches and many memorable moments but out of all the teams that have had the honor to lift the Champions League trophy which team actually deserved it. Which Champions League campaign is the best of them all? Which team had worked the hardest to achieve it? Beyond a shadow of doubt, winning the champions league is no fluke. Every team would have to strive unimaginably hard just to reach finals as it's the best teams across Europe that go head to head in this elite tournament.

So which team is it?

Barcelona? The only team to have won the treble twice, with the Champions League trophy each time under the belt or is it Real Madrid who have won back to back Champions League’s, something that no team has ever done before in the history of the game. Should this credit be given to Manchester United who are the one and only English Team to have won the treble?

I had to put much thought into this as it is no easy task to choose the best among these but after much consideration and analysis I believe that the team that had worked the hardest to win the Champions League, the team that had showed the most resilience, commitment and dedication is Inter Milan.

Their 2009-10 season when they won the treble, their domestic double and the Champions league, has to go down in history as  one of the best  campaign of all times.

I’m going to now, list down the reasons why I think that Inter Milan’s 2009-10 Champions League victory is the best of all time.

I'm not going to much into players, their skills, the injuries and definitley not about Mourinho's magic. Every team faces such situations. So, what else made Inter Milan's victory so memorable?

During the 2009-10 season, Inter Milan won the league with a margin of just 2 points thats how intense the league was. Not only that, in their Coppa Italia triumph, Inter Milan had to beat the likes of Juventus, Forentina and Roma in the quarters, semis and finals respectively. This alone proves that winning the Coppa Italia was no joke. To eclipse it all, in the Champions League tournament, Inter had to face teams like Chelsea, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

No other team have had such difficult fixtures in both Champions League and Coppa Italia. Not only that, such an intense league where even a little slip would have pulled Inter down to the middle of the pack but still Inter Milan were able to pull all off and become Treble winners.

This is exactly why I believe that Inter Milan’s 2009-10 Champions League triumph is the best of all time. So far.
