Kevin De Bruyne is currently the best player in the Premier League

Chelsea have done a grave mistake by letting go of Kevin De Bruyne. Not only him, there are a lot of players who had been rejected by Chelsea and they are now top class players in their current club. Lukaku is now Manchester United’s star striker while Salah is showing his flashy skills in Liverpool. Filipe Luis played just one season at Stamford Bridge before being sold back to Atletico Madrid, from whence he came. All done by Mourinho.

Kevin De Bruyne is one such player who after leaving Chelsea went to Germany and played for Wolfsberg where he set the record of 20 assists in a season after which Manchester City acquirer his services by shelling out 56 million pounds and now this young and talented Belgian is setting the Premier League ablaze with his skills.

Whenever, the question, who the best player in the Premier League is? Arises, Names like Hazard, Kane & Aguero pop up and by many pundits and fans, Eden Hazard is considered to be the best player in the Premier League at the moment but what De Bruyne has been doing is equally exceptional. Hazard doesn’t score as much as many expect from him but he brings so much more to his game than goals and De Bruyne is also one such player.

Every footballing fan is well aware of De Bruyne’s passing skills and his rocket-like long shots. These two skills are his most important attributes. He can threaten the opponents’ defence any way he likes. Be it scoring from a distance of or lobbing those skilfully crafted passes which would result in a goal.

Immediately after returning to the Premier League, the 26 year old had instantly set the record with 18 assists in a single season. His linkup player with his teams’ attackers and his clear vision to spot a gap between the defence is mind blowing. At the moment he is in such fine form that he might just blindly kick the ball and it’ll be any assist. He’s truly awesome when he’s at the top of his game.

Manchester City are heavily reliant on him during big games as he can bring that extra bit of football that is needed to win the game and he has been delivering every bit this season. All his touches have been turned to goal. He is a genius in the making.

His ability to play anywhere on the pitch makes him quite useful, anywhere, anytime. Currently De Bruyne is excelling in his role as a deep lying playmaker. The way he moves with the ball and his range of passing is just a beauty to watch. There are actually only a very few players who can match his skills and vision. He might be a bit lagging in the defensive part of the game but that what makes him such a good attacking midfielder.
