Pochettino or Klopp? Who is better

One came to the Premier League as one of the best managers in World Football while the other was known to be a good manager.
One of them took over a top club in Europe while the other took charge of a club that wanted to make a name for itself.
One manager had won a couple of domestic titles and had had the taste of UEFA Champions league in his previous club while the other had no trophies to boast about.
One manager is known to be succeed slowly but surely while the other has provided immediate results.

This four points have defined the arrival of both Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino who took charge of Liverpool and Tottenham respectively. Both managers have entirely different and contrasting background. Klopp had managed one of the best teams in Europe while Pochettino had always managed mid-level teams.
Pochettino had come to the Premier League in 2013, a full two years ahead of Klopp, first in charge of Southampton and then Tottenham. In his very first season in the Premier League he led Southampton to their best ever finish. He definitely brings with him the factor of instant impact.
After his switch over to Tottenham, Pochettino, made several changes to his team and it’s thanks to him that England now has young talents like Kane, Alli and Dier. Also, he brought the best out of Kyle Walker and Danny Rose. Under his watch, Tottenham have just kept rising. He led them to a 5th place finish in his first season as White Hart lane but that was just the beginning. In his second season he almost had his grasp on the Premier League title only to lose it out by a meagre margin and ended up in 3rd place. In his third season in-charge, he led Tottenham to a 2nd place finish where his team were the top scorers in the Premier League.
Klopp on the other hand, have been a little disappointing to be honest. He came with a big reputation but till this date, he has not been able to make Liverpool look like real title contenders. They are still the team that they were three years ago. Though, at times, Liverpool have provided some eye catching football, they were not able to sustain that form. Also, their defence has been woeful on many occasions, when compared to Tottenham who have one of the best defence in the Premier League.
To add to that, the way in which Klopp handles players has been heavily criticized and his reluctance to change his tactics even if it improves the team has been a big barrier not only in his path but in Liverpool’s effort for Premier League glory. There is no denying the fact that he might bring glory to Anfield by winning the Premier League or even the Champions League but it has been proven that he takes a lot of time to succeed but a club like Liverpool do not have the luxury of time.
Pochettino has promoted youth and turned them into world class players. He took a good team and turned them into a great team while Klopp has been able to keep Liverpool at the same level and is now on the verge of losing a couple of his best players. It can be said without any doubt that Pochettino has more chances of achieving success at Tottenham than Klopp has at Liverpool.

Up until now, beyond a shadow of doubt, Mauricio Pochettino has been the better manager.
