Who is Ethan Ampadu?

Ampadu has trained along with the Wales
senior squad and even traveled with them to France where he was restricted
from playing for being too young but that hasn’t stopped him. He continued to train training with
the senior players of the game as he quite easily settles into the team and get comfortable any players he plays with.
The kid is dominant in the air
and has almost always won aerial duels. His passing range and technique are
exceptionally
good and so is his ability to win the ball.
The area where I think the lad
might struggle is his decision making. To whom should the ball be passed while
performing his defensive duties? This is where he lags a bit but he’s not a
complete professional yet and this kid will only improve with time.
Along with these other skills,
Ampadu is known to be a physical player. He doesn’t hesitate to get dirty when
the occasion comes and that is a quality that is much needed when you are on
the verge to be the next Makelele or Essien or Kante.
This kid will reach the heights
expected of him if nurtured properly. It’s all up to Conte now.
It’s expected that the blues fans
will get to see the lad in action when Chelsea play against Nottingham forest
in the Carabao Cup.
