Real Madrid and Tottenham - Champions League Combined 11
As Real Madrid and Tottenham Hostspurs go head to head in the Champions League coming Wednesday, let's have a look at the best combined eleven from both the teams.
GK : Hugo Lloris
There is no turning around the fact, that Lloris is one of
the best goal keepers in the world and he will easily fit into this combined
eleven with no competition what so ever.
RB : Dani Carvajal
If only Kyle Walker was still in the team, he would have
been the obvious choice but after his big money move to Manchester City, there
is not a single spurs player who could overthrow Dani Carvajal for that
position.
CB : Jan Vertonghen
It had be the Belgian rather than Verane. Vertonghen is the
obvious choice when compared to Verane or any other CB at Madrid other than
Ramos.
CB : Sergio Ramos
No introduction is needed to tell, how important and
influential Ramos is to the team and no one actually replace him.
LB : Marcelo
Needless to say, Rose is out with an injury and even if he
was present, there is no way he’d have made the combined eleven when Marcelo is
in the game.
DM : Casemiro
This young Brazilian has been making headlines for quite
some time and all for a good reason. He was once a bright young prospect but
now he’s turning into one of the best defensive midfielders. Wanayama might be
better but he’s going to miss out the game due to injury.
CM : Kroos
Do we have to look any further than Kroos? while thinking
about the Perfect Central Midfielder? No spurs player can match this lad's talents.
AM : Isco
Real Madrid have completely dominated the midfield area and
with Alli out of the game serving his suspension, Isco is the obvious choice
for an attacking midfielder.
RW : Eriksen
Eriksen just had to be given a spot in the combined eleven,
such is his talent and skill. Bale is out injured and even if he was available,
Eriksen had been in a better form than the Welshman and he’s bound to make the
list.
ST : Kane
No. No. No. Benzema is not going to get a spot in the
combined eleven. We have Harry Kane for God sake and boy he is on fire.
LW : Cristiano Ronaldo
He just is inevitable.
